How often should my filter be changed or cleaned?

1” filters should be visually inspected on a monthly basis and changed at least every 3 months. An easy way to remember is "Change of Seasons - Change/Clean the Filters". Electronic Air Cleaners & high efficiency 4” pleated filters should be visually inspected on a quarterly basis & changed every 6 months to 1 year. How often should regular maintenance be performed on my system by a certified technician?

Regular full Maintenance on your system includes a full visual inspection, top to bottom cleaning (including your coils), testing & simple adjustments. It should be performed on the equipment at least once a year to maintain the maximum efficiency of your new equipment. If you have an Air Conditioner or Heat Pump, you may want to consider a Semi-Annual (2X) plan to ensure we are able to take operational pressures on your cooling system.

If you have an extended warranty on your equipment, regular maintenance is required. As with your vehicle, if regular maintenance is not performed to prevent mechanical failure, it may compromise any covered repairs that you may have in the future. Preventative maintenance plans are available by calling our office and asking for the service department.
